Implementing Your Own Programs

e-RAILSAFE CANADA can assist in making sure that your employees, contractors, vendors, suppliers and related personnel meet your requirements and adhere to your important policies.

How It Works

1) Subscribe

Railroad organizations and related enterprises visit Enroll, complete the online subscription process, and pay the sign-up fee.

2) Create Your Own Compliance Program(s)

Subscribing agencies and enterprises login, select the COMPLIANCE tab, and follow the directions displayed to create their own Compliance Program(s).

Each program created on the system can include a range of components including: Personnel Screening, Compliance Awareness & Testing, Workplace Credentialing and more.

3) Mandate Program Participation

Subscribing agencies and enterprises instruct their Managers and designated Resources (Contractors, Vendors, and Suppliers) to establish an e-RAILSAFE CANADA account.

An account is required to enter personnel information such as contact details, photos and relevant documents and make Personnel Assignments via the system.

4) Administer Compliance Programs

Assigned Personnel are issued a username and password so they can access the system to review and complete compliance requirements associated with their assignment(s).

Compliance program(s) are automatically administered via the system to entered personnel as per their assignment.

5) Manage Personnel Compliance

Subscribing agencies and enterprises monitor, approve, or deny personnel assignments made to their account.

These activities are documented via the system and appropriate notifications can be automatically sent to inform the relevant parties involved of their compliance status.

6) Issue Workplace Credentials

Subscribing agencies and enterprises can opt to automatically create and issue workplace credentials to personnel that have successfully completed their compliance programs.

Credentialing is an excellent way to acknowledge promotional achievement, confirm compliance, or to identify eligibility to access key worksites.

PLEASE NOTE: Subscribers who maintain Compliance Programs on this system are solely responsible for the criteria by which approvals and denials are made for organizations and personnel assigned to such programs.
